Support

Lyme Disease UK runs an online support group on Facebook. It’s private, which means that only members can see its posts and comments, allowing people to talk more freely about their thoughts and experiences. To join the group, simply request to join and an admin will approve your membership. We discuss a wide range of topics and many members have made very good friends.

There are a few regular local face to face support groups, not run by us, happening around the UK too. Keep checking back to see if there’s one happening near you!

WINCHESTER

Train – Go to Winchester Station.  Exit the station and walk down to the traffic lights, walk down City Road to the next set of lights and turn right into Jewry Street. No more than a 10 minute walk.

Car – park in one of the park & ride sites on the outskirts of the city and use the park and ride bus to get into the city centre – the bus stops near the junction of St George’s Street and Jewry Street – a short step from the pub.

Car Alternative – if you need to park closer there are a number of car parks in the city centre.

Bus – Winchester Bus Station is at the bottom of the High Street near the Statue of King Alfred. You would need to walk up through the pedestrianised part of High Street to the Junction with Jewry Street and then turn right.

 
 

GUILDFORD

NEXT MEETING IS 9th September 2015

Meet happens on the second wednesday of alternating months. March, May, July, September, November.

The Well One Clinic runs informal meetings mostly for their own patients but not exclusively.  The clinic treats Lyme disease as well as ME and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  The support group meetings are on Wednesdays 2-4pm. It is advisable to contact the clinic in advance to check the group is running.
